Mike Fegelman, Executive Director

A graduate of Carleton University's renowned journalism program, Mike specialized in broadcasting and international reporting. An eight-year veteran of the Canadian journalism industry, Mike was a former editor-in-chief, reporter, and anchor of various news programs and publications. Mike brings a marketing savvy to HRC having been a project manager for the market research firm Canmark Technologies for over six years.

Mike is the Editor-in-Chief of HRC and is responsible for the day to day running of the organization, its financial management and project development. Mike’s focus is on delivering efficiency and professionalism as HRC moves into new technological and geographical spheres that include the expansion of our media monitoring services to French Canada with the launch of our Montreal office in April 2008.

Paul Agoston, Assistant Director

Paul is the Editor of HonestReporting Canada’s weblog Headlines and Deadlines and is responsible for assisting HRC’s Executive Director in the day to day running of the organization, its financial management and project development. Paul’s focus is on managing HonestReporting Canada’s Montreal office, French monitoring unit, and on helping the organization grow and develop nationally.

A fluently bilingual native Montrealer and graduate of McGill University’s business school, Paul is a versatile marketing and communications professional with over ten years of varied industry experience. Paul’s wide-ranging career spans the public and private sectors and the non-profit field, having worked for such diverse organizations as Economic Development Canada, Federated Press, CIBC, Citigroup, Seagram, Bell Canada, Bank of Montreal, Montreal Jewish Experience and the Canadian Armed Forces.
